Double Dutch on your festival line-up

Three jump rope performers on a stage, or down on the ground with your crowd closed around them.

Where the act sits in your day

Your programme decides the slot. We take an opening ahead of a headline act, cover a changeover while the stage resets, play alongside an artist during their own set, or make a piece with that artist ahead of the day.

The fifth shape is a branded pitch with a DJ running behind us.

A festival booking us direct can put the act at more than one point on the site: four sets across a day, an hour apart at the closest, the ropes carried from one pitch to the next.

Down among the crowd

The ropes go down on the ground and a ring forms around them.

One of us holds the microphone and talks to the people standing there, which is how the ring opens and how somebody ends up inside it.

From five years old upwards, anyone who wants a turn takes one.

On a brand's pitch the set runs to the DJ working the stand, and it holds a crowd in one place.

Music is ours, theirs or yours: something built for the set, the DJ on site, or the playlist you send.

Put us on the bill

Send the dates, the site and the slot you are looking to fill. A quote in pounds follows, and the day is held while you decide.

What the day needs

You hold the running order, so the timing, the number of sets and the length of each one are yours to set. The piece you choose sets the length, and each piece is listed with its own.

We need a dressing room: somewhere to change, and somewhere to leave the ropes between sets. The ground wants to be flat and not slippery, a five-by-five metre pitch at the smallest and wider depending on the piece, with three metres clear above. On grass or sand we lay lino down first. Everything else to have ready on site sits with the booking detail.

Goodwood Festival of Speed, two seasons of it, the 2025 one for MINI UK. Lollapalooza and FISE before that.

An agency building your programme books the act the same way, and carries it in their own quote.
